| Denison Job Corps Center, located in Denison, Iowa, offers a high school diploma program, a GED program, a Solo Parent program and career technical training in nine career areas.
The 300 students at Denison live in dormitories, three or four to a room. Men and women live separately.
The center has fun activities such as billiards, arts and crafts and trips to movies and concerts, and students can participate in several sports.
Students can also take advantage of leadership opportunities through the Student Government Association, Student Senate and community service projects, or by serving as crew leaders, welcome leaders or recreation aides.
Denison Job Corps Center has partnerships with local employers and with Western Iowa Technical Community College, so students can get real work experience.
